This is beauty’s senior session isn’t until later this fall…but I have been wanting to do some “pool shots” this summer…so we had a little mini-session the other night. Poor Baleigh..it was a little cool that evening and I am glad it was her that had to get in that water and not me!

It is just plum crazy to be thinking about fall with these 100 degrees plus days…but I just wanted to put a shout out for those interested in fall sessions (Sept and October, November) to call and get your appointment scheduled…I only do a limited number of sessions per week and the last date I will take sessions for the year will be Nov. 15th…This gives me time to finish editing sessions and to work on client xmas cards/gifts.   I won’t be taking on any sessions the month of December.

 My last senior session was with Jesse while in Nebraska…Jesse has aspirations to move to Florida after graduation to pursue a modeling career. You can tell he is a natural behind the camera.  I had alot of fun with Jesse and his mom driving around our small little hometown (popluation 500)…Believe or not…Ansley has LOTS of cool places to take pictures.  Enjoy your senior year Jesse… I wish you all the best of luck next year after graduation!
This is my cousin Chris…good looking kid huh? I had the pleasure of taking his pictures bright and early last week while at my parents. My other cousin, Jill (his aunt par-took in these picture taking festivities also). We had ALL these things planned to get Chris to smile/laugh…I had been practicing my hip-hop dance moves and farting noises, she had thought up some good “unique” cuss words and some funny “birds and bees stories” (hey…ALL in the name of a good picture..whatever can elicite a smile from a teenage boy!!! ha ha)…but you know what? We didn’t get to use ONE DARN THING!  He was a natural behind the camera!   I was SOOO disappointed I didn’t get to use my “skills” so I just HAD to show him some of my “moves”….Let’s just say…he was less than impressed! ha ha  Chris…THANKS so much for letting me take your pictures! You are a wonderful young man…have fun your senior year of high school!
I was soo honored when Brogan contacted me to take her senior pictures. Her mom and grandparents are from my hometown AND when I worked at a daycare in Lincoln during college, Brogan was in the “toddler room” there… Oh boy does that make me feel old!
When I was back visiting family and friends in Nebraska last week it just so happened that I was able to take her senior pictures!   Thanks soo much Brogan…you are a sweet, young woman and I know you will do great things in life…Good luck in college next year~
