This crazy thing called motherhood is such a wild, absolutely amazing and FAST ride!  They say as a mother…”The days can be long but the years go by SOO fast!”  I want to encourage you to stop, pause, slow down for a sec and capture it this coming Mother’s Day.

No matter who you are, no matter what kind of camera you have….if you do it yourself or hire a professional…GET YOURSELF in front of that camera with your children.  Do it for yourself, do it for your kids.  They will thank you someday.  You will have “frozen” time,  just for a bit.   Your momma heart will be SOO happy someday that you did when they are all grown.

I have made a conscious effort the past couple years to make sure I am in front of the camera more with my babies.  These are some of my FAVORITE images below that I had taken last fall by the fabulous Laura McPherson of Elephant Juice Photography.  I will treasure them forever!

This year, in effort to get more moms in front of the camera with their little ones, I am offering a special round of Mother’s Day Mini Sessions.

WHEN:  April, 28th

WHO:  Moms, kids and grandmothers if desired

WHAT:  Each 20 min session will include 5 full resolution images with rights to print.  There will be a gallery of 8-12 images from which to choose.  Price:  $150.00 plus tax.  Plus 20% off all a la carte items.

WHERE:  The session will take place in my home studio.   I have ALWAYS been drawn to the timeless “look” of simple uncluttered backgrounds..   The special bond between you and your children will be captured using a grey backdrop.   There will be no need or worrying about what to wear.   A simple white or black t-shirt/tank top paired with jeans will be perfect.  Little boys can even go shirtless.

* Due to space and time constraints a maximum of 4 people will be allowed per session.

Sweet…sweet baby girl!   I got my newborn fix on this day…Once we got her in a deep sleep she was a dream to pose and photograph!

This picture of Big Sister and baby warms and melts my heart…it also makes me giggle cuz we had 4 people wrangling both girls to get this ONE SHOT…worth it I’d say!

This little boy is such a ham to photography!  Happy, laid back and full of smiles!    Luckily he wasn’t quite walking yet…so he made it a little bit easier on me by not having to chase him! ha ha

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect (we had yummy fall light) for this session with the lovely Miss Kelsey…It was just over a year ago that I took her sweet 16 photos  here.
